Someone, somewhere.
The ad-supported paid tier of #hotstar is so, so bad. While this one comes free with my internet, I would never willingly pay to see 3 ads every 15 mins.

Absolutely nuts. This is peak enshittification of streaming services.

I seriously thought it was a huge spood friend and i could share some new content for #Arachtober, I didn't think it would be a wall crab...

Who would've thunk?

So here's (multiple photos of) a cute crab for our crab feed.

Customer facing companies these days make it extremely hard to reach an actual human being for support. I've been trying to disconnect my ACT Fiber connection for over a month and its the most annoying experience possible.

When you get a human being on chat, they talk like a bot.

People hate their own art because it looks like they made it. They think if they get better, it will stop looking like they made it. A better person made it. But there's no level of skill beyond which you stop being you. You hate the most valuable thing about your art.

This sounds like the beginning of a post apocalyptic science fiction story.

Unfortunately, this is the new post-epidemic normal. While we still feel the aftermath of COVID, the rising pollution levels and a bird flu scare on the horizon truly makes us eligible for a post apocalyptic society.

Rich man runs a "pay us to work here" scam. Still gets 18,000 willing applicants.

Later, he says the paying part was just a filter to get genuine candidates (read: possible future scam victims or 5D chess players).

Welcome to the hiring of the future.

My HDFC medical insurance is up for renewal and I have been getting calls from people claiming to be HDFC employees and asking me to migrate my policy to a different service provider (Aditya Birla etc).

What is this new hell? I have no idea how these people know my policy is expiring to harass me.
