I checked with my local Publix. The manager provided what he acknowledged was the corporate mandated statement - that they follow Florida law. He wouldn't even say the words "we allow open carry." So they're implying that they don't have a choice. But, of course, we do. Will have to check out Aldi.

Remember, a major component of the MAGA cult establishing an alternate reality—a term I use here literally rather than figuratively—is getting Trump supporters to *actually* (not merely rhetorically) believe that Joe Biden was president in 2020, when the pandemic started.
