continuing from here, watched One Piece Fan Letter

amazing episode, getting to see the one piece world from the perspective of ordinary people is great

animation was fantastic, characters were fantastic, felt like a real love letter to one piece and its fan, 10/10 its peak

been over 6 months now, still having fun with the Switch 2

Funny enough I think my biggest complaint with it now is actually the size, I liked the size at first but now the size and weight makes it fairly restrictive in using it like a traditional portable

Switch 2 Lite probably gonna be a day 1

tomb raider 2013 is so funny because the game makes a big deal out of lara killing someone for the first time ever and immediately after is a long gameplay sequence where she takes out dozens of guys with extreme ease like bruh the disconnect is crazy 😭

so many anime-style artists are incapable of actually drawing short people and its so irritating

long lanky limbs everywhere, make em shorter and thicker please

damn capcom ain't playing about the switch 2

RE9, MH stories, and now Pragmata?

Between them and Ubisoft, Switch 2 really don't need to worry about skipping current gen games huh

Beat Tomb Raider (2013)

Been wanting to play this game ever since it came out, and thanks to a surprise shadow drop I finally have

Game's really damn good, combat is fun, the visuals are great, lots of cool setpieces, and the camera work in this game is phenomenal. I'm always a sucker for games ➡️

As a Monolith Soft fan, I am becoming slightly annoyed with HOW some people praise Monolith Soft these days

Very similar to how ArcSys, Platinum Games praise eventually turned annoying

Beat Pokemon Legends ZA

Still got postgame to do, but main story is done

Very fun battle system, catching Pokemon is great, Megas are awesome af and ZA is the best that one of the series' gimmicks has ever been handled

Story is nice and glad to see Pokemon continue to be more like its JRPG ➡️

There's no such thing as "bad" years for gaming anymore, if you have a broad taste it's simply impossible to play more than a fraction of every year's release calendar.

That's coming from the guy who regularly finishes 50+ games a year and even is the one guy one your timeline that plays VR stuff.
Is 2025 turning out to be one of the GOAT as far as quality game releases go?

Beat AITSF Nirvana Initiative

Freaky ass game man, a lot of moments that were toeing the line of straight up psychological horror way more disturbing than the 1st game

Wish the presentation of the story was better, there were a lot of moments the investigation wasn't making any real progress. ⬇️

Some of you have done this so please don’t take it personal

But I will never understand when someone gets blocked and they take a screenshot like “Lol wow this person blocked me”

You look like a loser. Even if they blocked you for a stupid reason.

Big difference between a mistake and a decision. Folks will be say cheating is a mistake lmao. No, stepping on someone’s toe unintentionally is a mistake. You know how many steps it takes to cheat?

I agree with this, only a minor bit on word choice:
No company, Nintendo included, will "let" developers have stable careers. Nintendo does bc of stricter labor laws protecting longterm employment in Japan. It isn't smarts, it isn't benevolence, it's mandated by the state. THAT is what we need here.
DK Bananza is the most wonderfully depressing game. It’s clearly the work of lifelong game developers mentoring novices and it’s the kind of game we’d have a lot more of if game publishers actually let game development be a stable, life-long career for people.

We're seeing a massive schism between games made by old teams with a lot of practice, like Nintendo or FromSoft, games made by contracted people who will be fired, like everybody at Microsoft, and the weird in between of talented people forming new companies they quit in order to not get fired.

I did two of the endings but I dunno if I'll go back and do some of the others

I know I'm locked out of at least one since its tied to Phantom Liberty, dunno about the rest
Beat Cyberpunk 2077 and Phantom Liberty too

Genuinely didn't expect to like the game as much as I did, especially since I had 0 intention of ever playing it before it got announced for Switch 2, then finding out it had touchscreen support made me buy it ASAP

Not feeling like typing up an essay ⬇️
