I understand the anxiety that comes with making phone calls in the year of our lord 2025, but it is actually super easy to call your reps and tell them what the correct decisions with these bills are (I speak from experience). Just find a script, tweak as needed, and BAM!

3/4 Challenge mode!: Dead battery- because the rear latch is electric, if the battery dies, and that is the only other keyed latch, entering the car requires another door be defeated by a lockout kit or more nefarious means! OH- and meatstick never connected the wire harnesses!

2/4 Latch/finger-puzzle: Unlock the hatch. Use the telescoping cane to unlock the rear driver-side door. Open the door, use the cane to unlock and open the Driver door, prop the door open with the cane. Close the hatch and rear door. Proceed with driving goals

1/4 For those who don't know, my driver's side door latch was broken, turning the simple act of getting the car open into a finger-puzzle situation. Today I replaced the broken latch, only to discover some meatstick put the pushrod in... BACKWARDS. No wonder it broke :(
