Amplify this more (from a former DOJ prosecutor).

Haven’t seen one employer arrested. That needs to change if these raids are to continue.
Why is ICE arresting employees but not employers? DOJ policy is to charge the most culpable people. The employers would seem to qualify.

This is disastrous.
As I just flagged, this has been replaced with something which is arguably worse; requiring that basically every plaintiff seeking a preliminary injunction against the federal government pay millions or billions of dollars in "security" to pay for "costs" to the federal government if they later win.

Several sources tell me a passel of high profile tech and also finance leaders is making a trip to Mar-a-Lago to read Trump the riot act — um talk common sense — to him on the tariffs. Their million dollar donations to the inauguration is turning into billions in losses.

“To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public.”

Given that the Trump people did nothing to induce Russia to end the war, it’s fair to conclude that the whole idea of pursuing peace was just a pretext to renew relations with Russia.

The presence of a Russian TASS news agency was to ensure that this would all be communicated immediately to Putin. He’s the witness to Trump’s loyalty.
Trump and Vance needed to create an incident to provide a justification for their pre-planned abandonment of Ukraine now, then separation from NATO in the near future. That’s what that was all about, and that was always the way a second Trump term was going to go.

Exactly. Ever since Zelensky said “Putin is afraid of Trump” ten days ago, Trump has been looking for a way to appease Putin’s anger and to reassure Putin that he (Trump) is still loyal. Because Trump’s alliance with Elon may well have concerned Putin about Trump maybe feeling untouchable.
I want everyone to know that screaming match in the Oval

I think this is their strategic intent, @mehdirhasan.bsky.social. Trump and Vance are looking for an excuse to defenestrate Zelenskyy so they can do what Trump wishes: help Putin achieve an end to the war that is advantageous for Russia. I am sure they are delighted to have this opportunity.
This is INSANE. Even if you think Zelenskyy was out of line or rude or whatever in the Oval, the US government is going to just throw the entire country of Ukraine under the (Russian) bus over this? Toddlers in kindergarten behave better, and more strategically, than this.
🚨The Trump administration is considering ending all ongoing shipments of military aid to Ukraine in response to Zelensky’s remarks in the Oval Office on Friday and his perceived intransigence in the peace process, per senior administration official

Republicans are too chickenshit to hold town halls. Shocker.
