Serious Q: anyone else detest BlueSky’s habit of automatically jumping to the most recent post instead of keeping your place in your timeline?
So either you miss everything or you have to scroll back to find your place - as more ppl join, that becomes ever more impractical.

Only thing I don’t like.
Anyone else in NI or GB having FreeSat problems tonight?!

I couldn't give a fuck it your "job requires an X account".
One of the top replies under an image on X of Renee Good's body slumped over in her car after an ICE agent shot her is another user asking Grok to put her body in a bikini. Grok then generated the image.

Gráinne married the great warrior Fionn MacCumhaill on the Hill of Tara, but at the wedding feast, she fell in love with Diarmuid, one of Fionn’s warriors.

They eloped and fled across Ireland to avoid Fionn’s anger. So began one of the most tragic tales of ancient Ireland

Ráith Gráinne • The Hill of Tara

Ráith Gráinne is a large ring-barrow on the Hill of Tara. This type of burial monument typically dates to the Bronze or Iron Age.

It is named after Gráinne, daughter of the legendary King Cormac.

If you're a woman and - also knowing their history - you've got a masked ICE agent trying to force his way into your car, you'd try to drive off...

That poor woman.

She was murdered.

A second by second video breakdown of the needless killing by an ICE agent of a woman attempting to leave.

And then ICE agents prevented a physician from approaching her, to check her pulse.

And then the responsible ICE agent departs the scene.

Video: Videos Contradict Trump Administration Account of ICE Shooting in Minneapolis
An analysis of footage from three camera angles shows that the motorist was driving away from — not toward — a federal officer when he opened fire.

Spineless response so far. An abject refusal to protect citizens.

Ireland has a really important role as the EU base for these companies, and the government needs to take that seriously.
My word. (Again.)

Media Minister Patrick O'Donovan: "At the end of the day, it's the choice of a person to make these images... technology is moving so fast... even if the law is changed there's no doubt about... the advances are far faster than law is able to respond..."

It knew that it would only be a matter of hours after the removal of Maduro before people were asking for the Roman parallels. To be honest, I am not sure

Nigel Farage has acted - quite literally - as a cheerleader for Trump's brand of fascism for over a decade. God help us if he ever gets his hands on power in the UK.

Fascism *always* means murder, oppression & war.

People living in UK - especially GB - should not be thinking 'at least we're not as bad as America,' when Northern Ireland exists and civilians were being shot by state forces there for decades, and recent governments have given those forces amnesty. @grantsana.bsky.social leading bsky voice here.
