I have an odd selective memory, but when President Obama took office and his kids got a snow day out of school not long after, he quoted that one of his kids said, in Chicago when it's like this we still have outside recess. Those Texans will be like Napoleon's army in Russia.

Nothing was clear about Bondi's rude, disgusting, anti-American anti-constitutional appearance except that she's seen incriminating Epstein material against Trump, and very likely pictures. If the answer were no, she'd have said no, even if it was accompanied by a lot of performative crap.

I agree. One thing that made me a little nervous (though I wasn't that worried) was that the Trump admin could make some people's lives better, e.g. with a draconian approach to crime or even selective deportations that pleased bigots but flew under the radar. They have not chosen that path.

I agree with @symonedsanders.bsky.social that her tone should not have been tolerated. Aggressively and clearly calling her on the carpet would have been very effective. She was obviously out of her depth and handed oppo information she wasn't personally familiar with, likely from Miller.

To be honest, the more extremely they behave as individuals, the more hope I have. If Pam Bondi wasn't a cornered rat in front of the Senate today, then cornered rats don't exist. She was desperately trying to avoid perjuring herself by trying ineptly to go on offense. I don't think she succeeded.
