Premier League XG table since start of November.
#LFC best defence and 3rd NPXGD
0.82 NPXGA
But only 1.52 NPXG pg in attack
Next step is once Hugo or Mo are back, can we up the attack and keep the defensive solidity

This should have always been the plan with Florian Wirtz at Liverpool
Liverpool stunned the masses when they convinced Florian Wirtz to turn down the advances of Bayern Munich and Manchester City to move to Anfield.

Breakthrough performance for Ekitike and #lfc yesterday. We've never seen this level of involvement by a CF under Slot before.

Salah was on a run of eight non-penalty big chances missed in a row until Emi Martinez kindly passed to him, while Isak’s current streak is six without a goal (both in all competitions).

Ekitike has had the most and while not quite so bad, is still below par for conversion.

It explains a lot.

Given the amount of squad and starting XI churn I would have taken 15 points from 7 at the start of the season...
I told @distancecovered.bsky.social that the start of the season was our "period of maximum vulnerability".
Not sure I pictured this journey of getting to 15 from 7 tho....#lfc

At the start of the season, Opta calculated that Liverpool had the most difficult start to the season of any team over first 10 games*. If we can get 10 wins through a combination of luck, skill and concentrated power of will, I will take it (* tied with Man United, apparently)
