I think a big thing that's been holding me back is that I've put way too much stake in what my friends think about my creative decisions
like I love them but inevitably if I do that I'll sand away all the weird pieces that don't fit their tastes but that do feel very me

I think one thing that really fucked up my motivation until recently, especially since i have a job, is that I’d not draw if i didn’t think i had the time to finish a drawing, and I think that removed those vital moments where im forced to go do something when i wanna continue drawing

god traditional art feels so expensive, at least with digital I don't lose anything other than time if I fuck up, with traditional if I fuck up with markers I lose like 1 out of 30 pages that cost me like £10 and some ink
