Scientists weren’t meant to sit back and watch. Knowing the consequences of atrocities happening we are meant to be one of the first to fight.

After a few months of hard work, I am now proudly a carbon footprint consultant.

There’s a lot of empty buzzwords and promises in the field, so I want to bypass that and make a genuine impact on my work.

It's a matter of time before we can't mention climate change.
Scientists at the CDC were ordered late on Friday to withdraw any pending publications, at any scientific journal, that mention terms such as “transgender,” “immigrant,” “L.G.B.T.” or “pregnant people.”

Taking a carbon footprint course right now. It’s very interesting to see how developing countries are impacted on every level.

From the calculations itself, because data in these regions aren’t as available, so we rely on estimates.

To how regulations like CBAM impact different regions unfairly.

Global warming results from us abusing the global carbon cycle by releasing trillions of tonnes of CO₂ into the atmosphere. The only way to fix this is to stop burning fossil fuels. There is no other way.

Please remember that with the release of an open source free chat AI tool, we still need to use it very responsibly.

AI is very resource intensive and is no joke to our environment. Be responsible please!

The USAF removed Tuskegee Airmen & Women Airforce Service Pilots of WWII from basic training curriculum. For 30 years I promised these women I would not let them ever be forgotten again. We worked for decades to have them remembered. The Airmen too. Knowledge is power. 🗃️ www.msn.com/en-us/societ...

Not enough talk about Sara Sabry here yet:

As an Arab woman, this makes me so happy to see! Rayyanah Barnawi is the first Arab woman to go to the International Space Station. A quote from her: "To the people around the world, the future is very bright. I would like you to dream big, believe in yourselves and believe in humanity."

Currently working on a fun project recycling used cigarette filters. (Pictures are before and after purification).

Thinking of experimenting with making it into bioplastics next?

A question to PIs out there, is the NIH grant freezings going to affect your decisions this cycle? And how do you feel about it!

Question: Do you think CBAM is unfair to developing countries?

You won't believe this. My team and I make this show called SciShow that works hard to be rigorous and accurate while also being appealing and entertaining.

We reach a LOT of people every year with episodes about crabs and neutrinos and gender and cancer and vaccines.

It's great, I love it.
