Ironically it's extremely manageable in today's age, it's expensive, but nowhere near the sentence it once was (or still is in some places)

My grandma was like that. No one could convince her to do anything about her many health issues. She refused to deal with diabetes, even as it progressed to necrosis. She was dead at 69. I loved her so much but she was in many ways a deeply unstable person and managing her strained the family.

I feel like it could be good if prepared and eaten immediately but if the chips sit and get soggy the texture would be heinous.

My kid is a beaver scout and loves it. It's a small group and if it was further limited by gender it would be so small they wouldn't get to do a lot of fun activities. I'm surprised scouts are affiliated with the military in US. In Canada I don't think they are.
