This was a labour of love dating back to law school. Glad to see it across the finish line.

And now the NHL will capitalize on the momentum of having Florida clinch last night and Edmonton clinch tonight by going dark for five straight nights.

Stanley Cup Final starts next Wednesday. And hopefully ends before Labour Day.

It also provides important context for understanding our current tariff situation.

I see that one of the THREE Conservative candidates dropped by the party today was cut loose because of conspiratorial tweets about COVID-19, vaccines, and Ukraine.

I guess Pierre Poilievre only likes to be associated with these ideas when there's an ongoing occupation of downtown Ottawa.

In 25 years of covering national security, I’ve never seen a story like this: Senior Trump officials discussed planning for the U.S. attack on Yemen in a Signal group--and inadvertently added the editor-in-chief of The Atlantic. www.theatlantic.com/politics/arc...
The Trump Administration Accidentally Texted Me Its War Plans
U.S. national-security leaders included me in a group chat about upcoming military strikes in Yemen. I didn’t think it could be real. Then the bombs started falling.

Pierre Poilievre opens with populist bash-Canada stuff, saying tariffs need to go entirely to tax cuts and nothing to spending and programs, then more talk of tax cuts, and the carbon tax. Jeez, this man has no agility. He has one gear.

The US has withdrawn from the Paris Agreement. It’s a dark day but a reminder that this makes it only one of four countries not a party to it. While the world takes climate action, the US has yet again removed itself from the table of opportunity. Perhaps even more will get done now without it.

Imperialism refuses to celebrate the dignity of difference. It worships power but ignores legitimacy. For those very reasons, empire contains within itself the seeds of its own destruction. And remember, the emperor has no clothes. While empire’s habits die hard, eventually the troller is trolled.

Thank people for their service to your country even if you disagree with them. There are very few exceptions to this rule and Trudeau is not one of them. Most people would expect and deserve the same if they ever held public office.
