I told the family we had reached max_cats, for the household. Eight years ago we kept my daughter’s cat for two years and loved her. She’s having kidney issues and we already have a kidney problem kitty so Precious traveled from Louisiana to Seattle by car with us. And she was perfect.

The point where you realized the book you were writing ended 20k ago and what you have is 20k of the NEXT book. #writing I had an outline. To misquote Douglas Adams, I love outlines. I love the sound they make as they get crinkled up by characters going off the rails.
