TRUMP: Some prominent conservatives also love it. As you grow older into this position you have to mention this other side

In a week where we watched JD Vance and his cronies threaten the media and protestors for telling the truth, The Washington Post decided that Jack Smith was the real threat to the First Amendment. This is insanely dumb -- even for WaPo.

I promised you some good news after a bleak week.

Here it is. This is one of the most wrenching wrongful convictions I've ever written about.

It is wonderful to see Charlie out and off to his new home.

After 35 years in prison, Charlie Vaughn is free
Vaughn, an Arkansas man with a severe intellectual disability, spent decades in prison for a murder he did not commit. He was finally released on Friday.

Minnesota needs to convene a grand jury right now. The shooter needs to be in custody and a full scale state investigation need to happen. DHS/ICE needs to stand down and allow the state investigators to do their jobs. The public safety of all Minnesotans is paramount right now.
Q: Are ICE operations paused as a result of what happened today?

NOEM: No. We're still out on the streets

Curtis Yarvin has written a very long screed in defense of his post in which he said, “Hitler spoke the truth.”

A sampling of select portions is below and includes, in reference to Jewish people, the words:

“The only way to tell is the name and the nose.”

"From Venezuela and other places" is, I suppose, technically true in the same sense that "from Antarctica and other places" would be.
MacCALLUM: You have about 100,000 dying from drug overdoses, most of those drugs from from Venezuela and other places

CROW: That's actually not true. The majority of the deaths by drugs in America are the result of meth and fentanyl. Almost none of that comes from Venezuela

When people argue that renewable energy sources are too expensive, remember that we don’t invade countries to seize wind farms and there are no solar cartels. Fossil fuels have enormous geopolitical, public health, and climate externalities.

Everyone needs health care.
Well, at least he got the percent of the total population enrolled in ACA exchange coverage accurate, anyway. Otherwise...
FOX: What is the Republican plan to provide an alternative to the ACA?

REP. JASON SMITH: The difference Republicans and Democrats is Democrats are focused on 7% of the population. Republicans are focused on creating more choice and lowering healthcare costs for every single American.
