all those pictures are ten years out of date. Alex Evertech is a trans puppygirl now. Sorry haters, she's living her best life now

the zapruder film makes a lot more sense when you see the new version with the pikmin

type of guy that waves around their bottle of chapstick in a phallic cigar-type fashion

maybe one last thing but, while I liked the broader point of the article, the Alex Evertech thing is a bad example. if you go to a con you're going to see people be "weird." you don't have to see it as a freak show. at their ideal a con is supposed to be a celebration of our collective strangeness

for an article that ends with an anecdote for "i saw a person that reminded me of that meme but i will hold back on identifying them" i feel like insufficient tact was deployed

I think the piece going around rn about cringe culture in Furry has good points, but I am on my knees begging you: please do not put your peers’ legal names, places of work, or other identifying information into a piece that people *could even perceive* as framing them negatively. It’s not safe.

the last thing i will say is that the need to call out that meme's creator by their government name and link their portfolio is extraordinarily petty and ridiculous

thus we are robbed of our ability to be more genuinely an individual b/c the culture has predefined the lengths and bounds of what it means to be an "individual"

i think the regurgitation crisis is downstream of the fact that furry was always downstream of what is essentially a collection of commercial products nipping at these very visual neuroses so the entire thing feels like it was historically hardwired to become as industrialized as it is now
awr.bsky.social
the other thing: furry culture tends to eat itself alive with its own repetition and regurgitation, which leads to these feelings of stagnation and then resentment. my one wish is that the art stays moving and never too comfortable with itself at any given time. but even this feels too hard.

more or less good, although i'd say often mock cringe content in furry often masks some form of jealousy or latent desire for reallocation, and like the masturbation at "People Being Morons" is part of it but not the whole thing. this coincidences w/ how pretty heavily youth-driven furry culture is

if USB-C was designed anything like USB-A, i would recommend not attempting this, you may short out the motherboards on both sides

The plush dragon gets jealous if you decide to use a bed other than himself. Not to worry, he has just the solution to remind you where supreme comfort can be found.

listen i hate to be The Complaining Girl That Is Mad About Everything but so much of the pain of "Using Computer" consists of silent laments that good ideas often remain unloved

just some examples:

- audit registry
- NTFS LZX compression
- NTFS TxF transactions (rest in peace)
- ReFS
- windows sandbox
- game bar

modern windows is awesome b/c you will find really cool features that are kneecapped by annoying and byzantine interfaces with close to zero sensible default automatic behavior. oh and sometimes these features just get deprecated after like five years

technically there is registry auditing (since win10) to see which app changed something but you have to target it for that specific key
