Don't let your dogs eat dead fish, swim in discoloured water, or play in contaminated foam or seaweed. Wash your #Dog with fresh water after visiting beaches in #Adelaide #SA #AlgalBloom #AnimalWelfare ⬇️🐶🏖️

Wildlife doesn’t have a safe place to hide, and many animals suffer long after the noise ends. Let’s be mindful and do what we can to protect the animals who depend on us. 🐨

Some tips to help keep your pets safe:

🐈 Keep pets indoors during fireworks
🐶 Create a quiet, secure space where they feel protected
🐦 Close windows and curtains, and play soft music or white noise
🐱 Make sure pets are wearing ID tags or are microchipped, just in case

MAKE NYE FUN FOR EVERYONE 🥳

Fireworks may be fun for us but they can be terrifying for pets and wildlife. 💔

The loud noises and bright flashes can cause extreme stress, panic and even injury as animals try to escape.

"People are still valuable even after they're done having children or doing heavy labor" and "my understanding of family is so expansive that it includes other species" are incredibly rare in the animal kingdom, and people who forget that deny our history and our inheritance.

We didn't survive and thrive as a species because we had warriors or hunters - pretty much every omnivore can manage that.

We did so because we developed Grandmothers, and domesticated Dogs.

Community is what defines us as a species, and every "self-reliant" libertarian shitweasel be damned.
"my least woke opinion is---"

That's enough. We've had enough people indulging in the "thrill of a little conservatism", as a treat. Of considering reactionary thought to be a salacious and taboo in a world descending into reactionary mania.

Give me your MOST woke opinions. We're bringing it back.

I often think of #Integrity in terms of how you act when no one is looking. When some humans say "I love animals", they mean it, and act accordingly. Words mean fuck all. 🐾💖 #AnimalWelfare
A great example of integrity is treating animals with empathy and compassion, aligning our actions with ethical principles. 🙏🙌

If you need to be told not to walk your #Dog in the summer heat or on hot surfaces, then you’re too stupid to be a dog parent and should be banned from doing so.

➡️ If *YOU* can walk on it, then so can your dog!
