The one year anniversary of Yoon's failed martial law takeover just passed and lots of untold stories came out proving that THE ONLY REASON KOREA IS STILL A FREE COUNTRY IS BECAUSE PEOPLE DISOBEYED ILLEGAL ORDERS.

The coup was over in hours because people said no.

My magic mantra - boil eggs in pressure cooker. Once done, give it a shake - so that the shells crack open and water gets in the little space between shell and egg white. It is breeze after that
(for those wondering, I occasionally eat eggs and paneer/cottage cheese)

Literally, the president of the United States is falling asleep in the middle of meetings in the middle of the day on a regular basis.

MAGA doesn’t care. The media can’t be bothered to focus on this incredible development.

"In 1921, when the steamship Rotterdam arrived in Hoboken, New Jersey, with Einstein on board, it was met by some 5,000 cheering New Yorkers. Reporters in small boats pulled alongside the ship even before it had docked." God, how I wish the public still had that kind of passion for science.
Albert Einstein's rise to superstardom began 106 years ago today, when the London Times noted the success of his theory of gravity, general relativity. I recently wrote about the public fascination with #Einstein and his theory for @smithsonianmag.bsky.social:

One Hundred Years Ago, Einstein's Theory of General Relativity Baffled the Press and the Public
Few people claimed to fully understand it, but the esoteric theory still managed to spark the public's imagination

But my trolls claim the only person who ever said it would take 3 days was some US general, yet here is a russian general saying it.

Prez confused.
In a rare case of admitting that the Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022 was based on wrong data, Russian colonel general Chirkin commented as follows:

„There was an underestimation of the enemy and overestimation of their troops. Everyone began to say that the war would end in three days.
