I used to get a lot of books from #Amazon. Box sets too. But wow... they abuse the heck out of the merchandise now. 😧 It's almost a 50/50 if you get dropped boxes, scratched (cut!) collector's items, or paperback books in bubbled envelopes with other items.

I did a talk at a high school about an hour ago and one girl timidly asked about romance. I immediately said that I read it, I love it, and furthermore, it literally keeps publishing afloat as is the reason that most other genres can get published at all.
I have a lot of new followers via starter packs & such and some of you apparently didn't clock that I'm a romance author because I've definitely gotten some snide condescending comments from people who definitely think I'll agree.
