Caving on a deal that doesn’t fix health care is, and always has been, a giant betrayal of the American people.

Hold the line. Save health care. I’m a NO on anything that doesn’t extend ACA subsidies.

Dems backed Trump into a corner where he’s advocating for starving Americans and hemorrhaging support. If they vote to let him off the hook in exchange for nothing it’s a cataclysmic failure. I know people are in pain but insulating Republicans from political consequences is not the answer.

Allow me to address the elephant in the room: The decades-long outsourcing of domestic manufacturing to China was not an insidious Chinese conspiracy for dominance but the greedy strategy of the American ruling class to explode its profit margins by exploiting global inequality.

People imagine that factory jobs in the future will have dignity and security like the jobs of the past. But it wasn't manufacturing that gave workers those things, it was unions and the labor movement. Factory jobs of the future will be long hours, low paid, insecure and demeaning.

As Trump runs our economy into the ground, Republicans are handing money to billionaires hand over fist, while raising prices—raising taxes—on every American.

We could stop Trump’s tariffs today—instead, Republicans are cheering Trump as he drives us toward a painful recession.

This administration is plainly incompetent:

Crashing the stock market
Alienating our allies
Leaking sensitive national security intel
Mistakenly deporting people
Firing thousands, then having to hire countless back

What a sloppy, embarrassing pattern.

People like Tim Walz, AOC, Jasmine Crockett, Chris Murphy, and Pete Buttigieg are the future of the party.

The old guard like Chuck Schumer need let them take the reins. It’s clear Schumer doesn’t have what it takes to stand up to Trump in this moment.

WE CARE ABOUT PEOPLE.

THEY DON’T.

Period.
