My favorite critics always have a handful of "brother, what the fuck are you talking about?" level opinions, real passion that comes out of left field for absolute dogwater, that they are not only willing but able to defend to the point where they almost win you over.

It is interesting that whenever a trans woman posts something, most of the comments (even the good natured, well meaning ones) are often some form of “have you considered this” or “slight addition or correction!” And when cis dudes comment people usually just go “oh interesting thought!”
