This is an incredible and utterly necessary project that shines a light on the enslavement of countless indigenous ppl.
(1/3) Stolen Relations has been launched for a month! Thanks to the hard work of hundreds of partners and researchers, stolenrelations.org currently has records of upwards of 7,000 individuals and many pieces of art and storytelling that help to flesh out the stories of unfree Indigenous people.

OpenAI releases the newest version of the AI model that powers its popular ChatGPT chatbot, with CEO Sam Altman promoting it as like having a “team of Ph.D. level experts in your pocket.”

Such a hard story to read about a woman in science who was clearly passionate about what she did — and excellent at it — and had that taken from her because she was Chinese.

My grandfather’s distant ancestors came from Scotland, so pretty much anything boiled to shit. Especially oatmeal. That texture is a one-way bullet train ticket to autistic meltdown city.
what's a traditional food of your people/culture that everyone else seems to love that you absolutely cannot stand?

for me it is vada pav. Vada is incredible, pav is fantastic, in combination they cancel each other out and become a black hole of anti-taste

The only time I have ever been in support of leafblowers.
Just now: Police throw tear gas canisters at protestors, who then kick it back to police. They are also shooting fireworks at the police in response to the police aggression.

Protestors have also armed themselves with defensive leafblowers to push back toxic tear gas.

If you own any website, I urge you to at least block scrapers through your robots.txt file.

robots.txt is a generic text file usually on the root of your host ( mywebsite(dot)com/robots.txt ) that can block certain clients from accessing your data. You can simply create one if it doesn't exist. 1/2
