The first thing Virginia Spanberger did after being sworn in as Governor of Virginia was repeal Youngkin’s executive order requiring state and local law enforcement to cooperate with ICE.

This is the kind of leadership Democratic governors nationwide should be emulating.

The landscape of professional umpiring has been a barren plain for too long, but Harry's Last Class - the final session of the Harry Wendelstedt Umpire School, which is shutting its doors in January 2026 after almost 50 years of promoting umpires into pro ball - will be changing that in a BIG way!

Level Ump is sponsoring a record number of women (20+) at the Last Class of the Harry Wendelstedt Umpire School in January as an homage to the school, which is shutting its doors in 2026 after almost 50 years of training and promoting thousands of umpires into pro ball and the major leagues - most of them men, of course.
