Genuinely think anyone can “git gud” at any creative craft they are interested in. If we wanted to actually “democratize” art we would invest in housing, healthcare, food and education as human rights. All GenAI does is make people even more financially precarious and less able to pursue a passion
I think a bit of the "AI is democratizing art" argument is trying to avoid the ugly truth that to get good at anything you have to do a lot of it. I grew up "knowing" I was a good writer, but I really wasn't until about 700k words, and it took reading hours of scripts to really have a voice

Approaching the end of my 30’s has been very transformational.
I do feel more grounded thanks to nearly an decade of therapy (minus a very chaotic 2 year break that landed me right back into therapy) with a new #borderlinepersonalitydisorder diagnosis and more appropriate medication cocktail. 🧵🪡

As someone who’s gone viral on every social platform by predicting trends, my first impression is giving pandemic-era Clubhouse vibes with a sprinkle of LinkedIn. Seems to resonate with brands and elder millennials… and the funny ppl haven’t made it to my feed yet so that assessment could change.
