It's never been a simple thing for me, I'm a musician, but good headphones and speakers are just non-negotiable for me. There's good deals out there these days and you truly just hear more of the music, in a fuller, richer way. I've heard new parts of songs after switching to better speakers.

I remember hearing a south asian socialist activist say that a lot of socialists make excuses for not organizing and gaining power. It's purity tests, it's frustration at the establishment, it's uneducated voters. And? You still have to organize and gain power. There's no alternative.
