The Alien franchise is what the Star Wars sequels almost became: a series where every entry is made by someone who has a completely different vision for what the whole thing should be, and so every entry clashes horribly with the others but is awesome when taken on its own merits

Article 1, Section 9 & 10 have been removed from the official Govt website on the US Constitution. Among numerous points:
•Section 9 forbids suspending The Privilege of the Writ of Habeas Corpus
•Section 10 forbids ex post facto laws
This better be a joke. Ignoring these is full blow dictatorship

Now that artsy auteur vampire films are in vogue, I'd really like to see Timothy Chalamet, Michael Fassbender, and Austin Butler as vampires.
(I haven't seen Blood Creek, but I'm guessing it's not what I'm hoping for.)

This feels like a pretty big deal to me. I'm very glad to see the Reference remove its explicit caveats about being "non-normative."

It would be really annoying to have your product go viral for something like this. Especially if it's one of the better tools for people to communicate without government surveillance atm
Right now there are a lot of new eyes on Signal, and not all of them are familiar with secure messaging and its nuances. Which means there’s misinfo flying around that might drive people away from Signal and private communications. 1/
