The Alien franchise is what the Star Wars sequels almost became: a series where every entry is made by someone who has a completely different vision for what the whole thing should be, and so every entry clashes horribly with the others but is awesome when taken on its own merits

Article 1, Section 9 & 10 have been removed from the official Govt website on the US Constitution. Among numerous points:
•Section 9 forbids suspending The Privilege of the Writ of Habeas Corpus
•Section 10 forbids ex post facto laws

This better be a joke. Ignoring these is full blow dictatorship

An evolution in the "franchise post-credits scenes" trend that I think I'd actually enjoy quite a bit would be brief behind-the-scenes featurettes for movies currently in development.

Now that artsy auteur vampire films are in vogue, I'd really like to see Timothy Chalamet, Michael Fassbender, and Austin Butler as vampires.

(I haven't seen Blood Creek, but I'm guessing it's not what I'm hoping for.)

There are a lot of plot threads in Rocky Horror. Did Meatloaf ever figure out what happened to Saturday night?

Remember when a Black woman wrote a personal essay about OutKast and a magazine inexplicably hired some white guy to read it? I think about it twice a week. Really goes for it with GUSTO!

"this guy was an expert on the law, but did not understand professional wrestling" would be a great tombstone epitaph.
this guy may be an expert on the law, but this post shows a lack of knowledge of professional wrestling. what richard hanania's is attempting to do is a face turn
I just want to let you know that if ANY of you motherfuckers buy Richard Hanania’s heel-turn even for a hot second I am going to judge you so hard your grandkids are going to come out cringing

Right now there are a lot of new eyes on Signal, and not all of them are familiar with secure messaging and its nuances. Which means there’s misinfo flying around that might drive people away from Signal and private communications. 1/
