"Political cowards" is respectfully generous. We are WELL beyond that. These people are pure evil and complicit with fascism. They continue to stand by a felonious insurrectionist. They're protecting a fucking pedophile, and now they're covering for his PURE-BRED BULLSHIT LIES.

I love how they went from "Guns Don't Kill People" to "A Gun Can Kill People Even If You Don't Use It!"
Bessent: I'm sorry he is dead, but he did bring a semiautomatic weapon to what was supposed to be a peaceful protest.

Karl: There's no evidence that he brandished the gun whatsoever

Bessent: But he brought a gun!

Karl: We do have a second amendment in this country.

The killing of Alex Pretti is a heartbreaking tragedy. It should also be a wake-up call to every American, regardless of party, that many of our core values as a nation are increasingly under assault.

This is how the administration is maligning Alex Pretti

A caring, 37 year old male US citizen who worked in the Minneapolis VA ICU as a nurse caring for sick veterans.

This is shameful and indefensible.

Could make arguments either way on whether this is a direct violation of Article I, Sect. 10, Clause 3. Not that I oppose it. Time for states to start exercising authority in weird ways, regardless of whether they have such authority.

Who in their right mind believes statements from the Department of Homeland Security?

Who believes anything Kristi Noem or Stephen Miller or Trump might say about what has just happened in Minneapolis?

They no longer have any credibility. That should be clear by now.

They lie like they breathe.

Trump's offshore slush fund is a blatant constitutional violation, born of the same authoritarian narcissism we've watched for years where he treats public funds as his own personal piggy bank.

The GOP's craven silence speaks volumes - and our media's inability to focus on anything is crippling.

In October, ICE grabbed Maher Tarabishi.

He was a 24/7 caregiver for his disabled son Wael.

At the time of Maher’s detention, disability advocates warned that taking away Wael’s caregiver put his life at risk.

Wael died on Friday at age 30.

ICE caused his death.

They didn’t get to say goodbye.
