There is a huge disconnect that I can't ignore. It's on Facebook, it's on Twitter, it's on BlueSky... Black, Latino and Asian groups are consistently more aware of the growing fascism in this country and post about it. Everyone else...is Instagraming as normal. I'm not crazy.

Disney adults need change postpone to "indefinitely,""become a SeaWorld/universal pass holder,""refund my money,""cancel my dinning reservations,""no longer but park property food,""sell my Disney Stock," "better deal on Royal Caribbean,""No longer be a DVC member" because postpone isn't a threat.
cancelling Disney+ and Hulu is well and good but it’s not a huge hit on an individual level
but Disney adults? people who spend real money at the parks? you guys can make a dent, call ‘em up and tell them your vacation is postponed until they pull their heads out of their asses

Heard from a friend at Disney+ that there are multiple levels of freakout internally, both from internal dissatisfaction, concerns about subscription cancelations, and of course the big one: concern about a boycott spilling over into parks and cruises.

Watching Endgame and the opening with Hawkeye and his family finally gave me the verbage to describe what it is I feel when watching these Marvel movies. It's all cut and paste. There is no formula but rather a repeat of the same cinematography ideas "cut and paste" without feeling.
