Fantasy illustration in sketchbook. There’s a large purple worm like creature that has four wheels in stead of legs. He’s rolling off a hill, arms spread, mouth a grin and very very large round eyes. On his had a couple of small antennas. On his back a pair of small bee’s wings (totally useless). There’s a very bit of greenery in the overall sandy environment.

I watched a sketchbook flip through by Jelarts and there were a few pages where she’d drawn badgers and I felt inspired to draw a badger myself. They’re hard to draw, but after a few tries I made it work. Next I thought about a nice environment for hem and it made me long for bluebells in spring.

I work as a volunteer at a petting zoo. Last summer when one of our dear sheep died, I honoured her with a drawing. So of course I had to do the same when one of our chickens died last week.
