Pretty tough to blame Dems for a shutdown when Lindsey Graham is shutting the government down so he can get money from the taxpayers for himself.

There's video of Don Lemon outside the protest stating explicitly: "I'm just chronicling. I'm not with the group." Bondi went to grand jury for an indictment after the courts declined to approve arrest warrant *twice.*

Legal experts explain here why this is so ugly:

The president should be impeached and convicted, as should everyone responsible for these outrages. ICE should be disbanded. So should the Department of Homeland Security. And the people who have killed should be investigated and brought before judges and juries.
We have to see the logic of the killings as well as the killings themselves. The horror is a truth in itself. But it is also a sign of a political logic, one known from the totalitarian regimes of the twentieth century.

I’ve never heard of a “law enforcement” agency putting an officer who just killed someone back on the street under 24 hours. And that’s because all shootings are treated as homicides pending investigation. This is as clear a sign as you’ll get that DHS personnel enjoy practical immunity from murder.
CBP chief Bovino has confirmed that the officers who executed Alex Pretti in the street yesterday are not only *not on administrative leave,* they have all been reassigned to other jurisdictions and are all on the street today.

This is totally unheard of for any officer-involved shooting

This is absurd to put all of those CBP agents involved in the murder of Alex Pretti back onto the streets already.

They pose a very real, proven danger to the community.

"I saw him yelling at the ICE agents, but I did not see him attack the agents or brandish a weapon of any kind.
Suddenly, an ICE agent shoved him to the ground."

ICE isn’t “police.” Let’s reset. Starting w/ first principles: Immigration violations are civil, and police functions belong to the State. And here, and elsewhere, ICE isn’t even engaged in civil immigration enforcement. This is a political operation targeted at places that didn’t vote for Shitler.
