This is not about politics or partisanship. It is about checks and balances and the rule of law. Presidents do not have unilateral authority to put service members at risk. Upholding the Constitution is how we honor the military and protect those who serve.

Sister Norma Pimentel with Catholic Charities of the Rio Grande Valley founded the shelter in McAllen, which serves undocumented immigrants released from federal custody.
