Runners/athletes in the US (and probably other places), also swap singlet and tank top around somewhat interchangeably. I don't know what the difference is in these two Nike shirts? Skinnier straps at the top?

Kronos has since changed their tune about only using blonde women, this is a more current poster.
January 16, 2026 at 2:24 PM
For reference, here's the poster and model that I tried to recreate. I believe this was one of their original models/posters. The owner of Kronos at the time (1970s/80s) said he only wanted blonde models so they looked American and not Greek.

I painted one of the original Kronos Gyros models. Kronos Foods is one of the largest manufacturers of gyros in the world, and it's located in Glendale Heights, IL. These posters were very commonly seen all over the Chicago area (and other parts of the world) in hot dog stands and Greek restaurants.

Almost 30 years ago when I started drinking craft beer, this was one of my favorites. North Coast Red Seal Ale. Probably haven't had one in 15+ years. Tastes like hoppy caramel and nostalgia.

I would have bought this shirt if they put the vinegar on the east side.

Was in town for the holidays and stopped by to say hi to your mom and dad. You should call.

This is Tom. His hobbies are eating, laying down, and trying to scratch you if you try to scratch his back.

I made a bacon. How many slices you need?

Might have one of these for dessert after I finish my first cookie breakfast. Merry Christmas or Happy Thursday!

My mom's Christmas cookie assortment. Clockwise from bottom middle walnut refrigerator cookies, molasses cookies, date balls, cheese wafers, double chocolate chip, with a shortbread cookie in the middle. Breakfast of champions!

I hope all your bakes turn out great today, and none of your sesame seeds fall off.

I ran the numbers, and these were the most clicked on sandwich content I wrote about in 2025. Links in the thread.

I finally checked out a Bier Omakase here in Chicago and only got chastised a little.

Thanksgiving dinner happened again this year!
November 28, 2025 at 2:03 AM
My wife ordered some of the Thanksgiving flavored Oreos and they were very likely the worst cookies I've ever had. The first photo is a turkey and stuffing flavored cookie and I was expecting sage and maybe some savory flavors. Instead it just tasted like chemicals dumped on your tongue.
