Since that's freshly purchased, you could probably just add it directly to the dry mixture.

BUT you should probably "bloom" it with warm water or milk and a small pinch of sugar to make sure it's alive and ready to start making bread first.

Also, there's likely better instruction on the package.

I always buy instant yeast and put it directly into the flour/dry mix.

BUT I bake often, so I know my yeast is good. Adding directly to flour without testing whether your yeast is working might be bad if you're at a friend/family member's house and the yeast is 10 years old or something.

You mean active yeast? Active yeast sometimes requires proofing time. Meaning, those recipes that say "add yeast to warm water or milk and wait fifteen minutes until foam appears."

Instant yeast goes to work almost immediately without effort. Share a photo and I can check what you have if you want.

Something like a flour tortilla-style wrap without yeast will work boundedbybuns.com/recipes/r/fl... But also a buttermilk biscuit recipe will work with butter + flour + baking powder and buttermilk (or acid from lemon juice/vinegar) boundedbybuns.com/recipes/r/bu...

If you're in a situation where you don't want to leave your house, you don't have yeast, but you're safe and just want to experiment with making bread, you can make flatbread or biscuits with just baking powder and/or baking soda + flour + liquid.

That happened to me two weeks ago. Never actually got the card; someone snatched it in the mail.
