My last gig for this year is out in the wilds: So happy to share that I lettered Issue #07 of the Team Fortress 2 webcomic series, an ending years in the making!
Metal Gear Solid 2 was considered to be named "Metal Gear Solid III", using roman numerals to symbolize the three tallest skyscrapers in Manhattan (the main setting of the game). Kojima wanted to make players speculate why would the second entry being called "three" instead of being "two".
i was going through my X archives and found this by @superpodsaga.com, which I qrt'd at some point years ago

so, let me bring the question back: what is the most useless piece of video game knowledge you know?

one of the things that makes me most mad about genAI (and there are many) is we've been told there's not enough money for hiring. but there's billions poured into ai.

so not enough money to hire workers. but infinite money to pour into technology whose goal is never having to pay workers again.

This is a nuts story. An AI chatbot and image platform left millions of images exposed. They show what people are actually using the AI for: taking random women's yearbook, graduation, and social media photos and making super realistic hardcore porn with them

Judging from the current reaction of Moana's live-action trailer and how it was originally the same discourse for Lilo and Stitch's, I think it's fair to say the movie is likely heading to be a box office success.

steam is apparently allowing "this game had AI in it that it didn't disclose" as a valid return statement, so if you or anyone you know actually paid $70 for slop, get that money back
