She is a tourist from Chile, and these cops left her teenage daughter on the streets of New York City alone. Why anybody would come to this country right now blows my mind.

Real talk. If I'm the Int'l committee for the 2028 LA Olympics or 2026 World Cup, I have 0 desire to subject my athletes to ICE fascism in the USA. Why would any athlete risk their life, safety, & years of hard work to get targeted by ICE for having the wrong complexion or tweeting the wrong tweet?
