And they thought the MAGA "stereotype" by Tom Hanks was horrible and untrue 😅

But they all got at Tom Hanks for doing that same move when Keenan walked toward him in Black Jeopardy in the SNL 50th show.

What the ****?!!!!
We passed a bill in committee yesterday that felonizes elected officials if they vote against Trump’s immigration policy. Let that sink in. Duly elected officials will go to jail- will have a criminal record- if they do not vote for and support Trump’s policies.

First they came for the immigrants, and I spoke out, because I’ve read the damn poem before and I know how it ends.

The people wanting to invade Greenland say it's too cold to go outside for the inaugural.

Those who don't study history are doomed to repeat it. Yet those who do study history are doomed to stand by helplessly while everyone else repeats it.

I would love to see a bunch of musical artists and celebrities put on a nationally televised tribute concert for Pres. Jimmy Carter on inauguration day with all proceeds going to Habitat for Humanity.

I'm proud to say that the first time I ever voted for president was in 1976 when I voted for President Jimmy Carter.
Rest in Peace President Carter, your compassion and moral clarity has always inspired me.
Beautifully said, President Biden. Rest in peace, President Jimmy Carter, thank you for everything you did for our country. 🙏💜
Biden: Jimmy Carter lived a life measured not by words, but by his deeds. Just look at his life. He worked to eradicate disease not just at home, but around the world. He forged peace, advanced civil rights, human rights.. He built housing for the homeless with his own hands

What happened to the #Salvation Army bell ringers and their big red kettles? They are nowhere to be found in #Nashville. Where did they go?

Sounds like a plan!
Don't assume maximalist outcomes for the Trump administration. That's a form of psychological surrender. We should attempt to exploit every stumble, failure, and misstep, and there will be stumbles, failures, and missteps.

House Republicans have been ordered to shut down the government.

And hurt the working class Americans they claim to support.

You break the bipartisan agreement, you own the consequences that follow.

This!
Trump became a GOP star via his birther attack on Obama and as karma he’s now stuck with a co-president who actually was born in Africa.

Truth! Someone finally said what I've been thinking. Thank you @gtconway.bsky.social
… have come away with the strong conviction that the drafters of the Fourteenth Amendment did not intend for a person like Elon Musk, who was neither born in the United States nor otherwise a citizen of the United States at birth, to be eligible to serve as co-president.

It’s weird to think that Elon Musk will end up having paid far less for the United States Government than he did for Twitter

I used to watch #msnbc morning till night. I stopped watching before midnight election night and haven't tuned in since. @ronfilipkowski.bsky.social is my go to news source. Once a day I check in with him. He keeps me up to date on what I need to go.
On today’s Uncovered, I talked about Jim Acosta’s take that ABC failed to take into account when they settled with Trump what the broader implications would be. Link to show: www.youtube.com/live/Cm6kE1n...
