Being a millennial is doing everything right and still having to completely restart your life every 2-4 years. We are tired.
Not sure if this is the millennial experience but every time I have gotten big increases, promotions or generally made away for myself this country has fucked me.
I cant believe America decides to do this shit right when I hit my stride.

In-person events are great and important but nobody will wear a goddamn mask anymore so disabled & at-risk artists cannot safely attend. Make these events mask-mandatory and enforce that, and then we can talk about reconnecting the art community. It isn't a community if we're still excluded.
My advice for emerging artists and pros alike: it’s time for in person events.
The industry and community is scattered and algorithms are currently siloing us off.
Go to cons, festivals, screenings + launches, and other art events.
While social media is still shifting, invest in face to face.
