i can wear corded headphones anywhere on earth except for my own kitchen, where they catch on idk, a ladybug’s dream and are yanked so violently from my ears, launching my phone out of my pocket and clattering across the floor into the next room, seven or eight times in the course of cooking dinner

Day 272: Bappity-bap-bap

This one actually took 40 min., but I wrote 50 out of the months-long habit. Anyway, it was nice to throw out a quick one before we get into October -- I've got some fun stuff planned, stay tuned 😺

In the panel, my shorthair cat Egg Noodle is standing in a wide stance with a weird, wide expression on his face as he enjoys getting rapid pats on his butt. There are six individual hands drawn in motion lines, hitting both sides of his back around his tail, which is super long and extends out of the panel border. 5 little "Bap" SFX are scattered around the rapidly patting hands.
Beneath the comic is my signature (Kat Baumann), today's date (9-29-2025) and the time I spent drawing this (50 minutes) (although it was more like 40 minutes and i wrote 50 on reflex)

We've set up a new carrier, Chit Chats to handle shipments.
We can now avoid paying the IEEPA 35% tariffs to ship our orders to the USA.
