When we were in China between betw 2006 and 2011, like most Western reporters I thought the worst thing outsiders had to fear was being kicked out of the country. They weren't detaining many (white) foreigners/reporters then.

Now this, from a US regime, in the nation's capital.

Something horrifying is happening in America: Because he was filming ICE Nazis, whuch is protected under the constitution, an American citizen in St. Paul, Minnesota was brutalized to the point of becoming unresponsive. What happened in Nazi Germany is happening in America. 😳👇

Jon is one of the excellent reporters at @mprnews.org, which -- like most local reporters on the scene --- have risen brilliantly and bravely to the occasion.
She says ICE agents mocked her: “The ICE agent who had pepper sprayed into the vents of my car said ‘you guys gotta stop obstructing us, that’s why that lesbian b—— is dead,’ verbatim, speaking of Renee Good. Which filled me with absolute rage and shock..."

My representative should be on tv showing clips of this shit to everyone every fucking night until this bullshit ends. We are being fucking abandoned by our state and federal representatives.
Today at 34 & Park in Minneapolis, a woman tried to drive down the street where a protest had broken out in front of a home ICE was raiding, saying she had a doctor apt to get to. ICE agents busted out her windows, cut off her seatbelt, and pulled her out before arresting her.

BREAKING: A Russian newspaper today — “America no longer sees our country as a threat… The US leader’s philosophy is closer to the values of Russia’s president, not the politicians of the Old World… he sees Europe as a liberal stronghold that must be destroyed…”

In the summer of 1950 most US newspapers ran an AP story about how race had become the main issue in the upcoming Georgia governor's race. Segregationist Herman Tallmadge, governor from '47 to '55 and then a Senator until 1981 made a name for himself by refusing to "apologize for being a white man."
