Uh… what the fuck?!?

I’m just exhausted with all of this. I don’t want to have to spend time thinking about whether I’ve granted an irrevocable license for someone to take all of my course materials and do whatever they want with them, especially given there’s basically no way around using canvas.

Add The Cookers to those choosing not to play at the Kennedy Center. Per NYT The Cookers did not give a reason for the decision in a statement on Monday that said, "Jazz was born from struggle & from a relentless insistence on freedom: freedom of thought, of expression, & of the full human voice."
BREAKING: New Year’s Eve concerts at the Kennedy Center are canceled. Jazz drummer Billy Hart said the decision was connected to Trump’s name being added to the arts center.

Another confusing detail from the CNN report. An American drone blew up a port facility but it was small so the Venezuelan government didn’t care enough to comment? Huh?

I will not use it at the beach
I will not use it when I teach

I do not want it in a church
I do not want it for research

I see no reason to concede
I will not use it when I read

Although its hype should have no end
Upon it I will not depend
I do not like your AI slop
I do not like it, make it stop

I do not want an AI house
I do not want an AI mouse
No AI box. No AI fox—
That AI slop can go kick rocks

I would not AI here or there
I would not AI anywhere
No AI car, no AI czar

Your AI slop is killing trees
I do not like it, let me be!

BREAKING: A Russian newspaper today — “America no longer sees our country as a threat… The US leader’s philosophy is closer to the values of Russia’s president, not the politicians of the Old World… he sees Europe as a liberal stronghold that must be destroyed…”

This isn’t policing — it’s authoritarian spectacle.
Armed intimidation, fear as policy, and taxpayer money burned to terrorize communities.

This is fascism in plain sight. #TrumpWatch #Resist

It’s Day 28 of the ICE occupation of MSP.

Today we were reminded of the importance of taking the time to connect in person, not just online.

This is your reminder to get a cup of tea with someone, to share a good long hug, or a laugh with a friend.

We are resilient, but resilience needs fuel.
