My bad.Whenever one talks about IA, I automatically think of "mainstream" IA with a UI (Grok,ChatGPT) and less of scientific applications such as AlphaFold, bc I think the brain rot argument mostly applies there: humans delegating their life to a chat "ChatGPT organise my holidays, explain this,etc"

Yes, but it's not as if the washing machine gives you back your clothes through the bias of Altman/Musk or the CCP for Deepseek after intellectually stealing them from authors/artists,etc. I don't think metaphors are very pertinent either way regarding the impact of AI on humanity.
