damn! i actually quite enjoyed the first story of Legacy of Darkness. but it was in emulation, so..

the only Castlevania game i finished is Order of Ecclesia for the DS. loved it. i liked that you could save and talk with and do quests for the townspeople. and the combat is good, too! :D

please let me make you a dress. ... would that be good enough?

need to continue my Castlevania Legacy of Darkness playthrough. but it's been so long, i forgot how to play! it was the second story where you have to look around the map to save children, on a time limit too. wasn't a big fan

I usually go a few years between SOTN playthroughs, and in that time I slowly forget that it's one of the most fun games ever made.

Then I start playing it and immediately remember that it is in fact one of the most fun games ever made.

Death's bumbling minions, Slogra and Gaibon, a sort of Bebop and Rocksteady or Bulk and Skull duo, foolishly step to Alucard, seemingly unaware that he's going to destroy their dumb asses with his sexy vampire prowess.

In Castlevania's elaborate clock room, Alucard crosses paths with the mysterious Maria Renard. She leans against the wall like a cool lady before introducing herself and explaining her quest to locate the missing heir to the Belmont clan, her homeboy Richter.

Alucard naively attempts to parley with a nice young lady, perhaps unaware that she isn't a real lady but rather the mimic tail of a ferocious ambush-hunting beast.

Progressing through the twisted entrails of Castlevania, Alucard is assaulted by a doppelganger from the cosmic void. Uninterested in a psychological battle, Alucard simply beats the doppelganger into submission and banishes it back to the infinite abyss.
