Found the actual men in women's bathrooms assaulting women.
ICE agents illegally break into a woman's bathroom in a NY nutrition bar manufacturing plant. "Pull up your pants," says a male agent. The agents only had a warrant to review employer documents. They didn't have a warrant to search for, detain, or arrest anyone there.

It's streaming on a Canadian website, but there is no telling for how long.

The articles in this issue didn't just use Nazi imagery, they actively called for mass execution of people they view as immoral, abortion and gender affirming care providers, sex workers, LGBTQ people etc. It's blatantly fascist propaganda that has no place at Harvard.
Ross Douthat was the EIC of this publication when we were in college.

“variations of a racial slur used casually in a group chat of members; an unpublished issue featuring a call for mass executions; and draft versions…that included two images of swastikas and a Nazi slogan in the subtitle.“

This week a bathroom bill went into effect in Texas for the first time.

After 10 years and 19 attempts.

To regulate bathrooms for 1% of the population.

The obvious question is… why? Here are the answers we found, after years and so much reporting.

Being trans means you can’t cover trans issues, but political reporters can sext their subjects and be named editor of another publication and have a glossy profile story written about them by a reporter who happens to be the son of famous people.

Committee hearings begin tomorrow.

Cannot be stressed enough that Black trans women were immediately sidelined in the early 2020s. Just pushed out of the convo immediately, even though transmisogynoir has always been an emergency and Black trans women are disproportionately targeted
Read this piece I contributed to in 2017. This piece, talking with the friends and families of murdered Black trans women, still haunts me to this day.

Pieces like this are just not printed anymore.

People who've been in journalism for a while should be able to recall a time when the news side of Fox News was basically sound, it was just a few primetime opinion personalities who'd left journalism behind. Let's not pretend we don't know where a reorganization like A. G. and Khan's leads.
The direction A. G. is taking NYT is that of a tabloid crusading for its pet causes. I agree those types of stories haven't passed 50%, but the trend is towards burning their legitimacy to try and influence the NYC mayoral race or sentiment on Israel/Palestine. No point in supporting that slide.
