We are facing a serious threat to democracy, law, and liberty. The abuse of prosecutorial power to intimidate, investigate, and detain political opponents is upon us. It is a constitutional crisis. I will keep speaking out until public outrage overflows. I just hope it’s not too little, too late.

A federal appeals court ruled that Trump can keep the California National Guard in Los Angeles for now, handing him a win as he seeks to use the military to police protests. The decision came from a three-judge panel on the 9th Circuit two of whom were Trump appointees.

We have had political disagreements since the founding of the republic.
But we've never had the constant handcuffing and arrest of politicians, judges, etc. for opposing the president.
That's new.

As a library volunteer and supporter, GOOD! Glad the GAO is taking a stand. He's trying to destroy everything good in this country.
The nonpartisan Government Accountability Office says the Trump administration broke the law by withholding funding for the nation’s libraries as part of its federal reorganization plan. The G.A.O. will sue if the administration continues to block funds already approved by Congress.
