Honestly, the worst thing is Ryan saying it's the worst thing about Sonic Prime when it's not even like in the top 10 worst things about the show.
Even before that rough period, Knuckles post-SA2, pre-Movie 2 was mostly reduced to a comic relief where alot of the time he only was there to get angry at things or just be the muscle of Team Sonic with only a handful of appearances where his old self shone (ie. Heroes, Advance 3, Rivals, etc.).
