I ended up going to Sherburne National Wildlife Refuge this morning to see more Sandhill Cranes, but first saw 20+ Trumpeter Swans that were intrigued by my presence.

It's been a great weekend for birds. :) Thread incoming. First up, a Rusty Blackbird strolling through the shallow inlet along the pier, picking bugs out of the algae. Its supercilium (eyebrow stripe) was so bright, I thought at first glance it was a waterthrush. Didn't expect that. Lifer! #birds
