This is essentially what governments did in the late 1900s and early 2000s with respect to Nazis. Whether you were a lowly concentration camp guard or in Hitler's inner circle, if there was evidence you were a Nazi, it was straight to jail with your walker.

It worked.
Maybe instead of identifying specific ICE agents who do particularly heinous things, we could just penalize everyone who was on payroll at the agency starting by a certain date.

A man told me yesterday that it was important to "take emotion out of the equation“ when analysing the situation in the US, at which point I told him very calmly that "a woman who disagrees with you is not necessarily emotional".

Ladies, it was a breakthrough.

I should have done this years ago.

@m00nstruck.bsky.social said we need a more GI Robot in our lives, so I sketched a GI Robear. (Yes, I can make him if anyone wants a real one to hug and do GI Robear things with.)

I made a housekeeping post. It's free. It's got two cat pics, two quilts, and at least one joke in it. And absolutely nothing specific about current politics.

If it makes anybody feel slightly better, it's raining on Ted Cruz right now. He flew all the way to beloathed blue California for some sunny beach time, and it's raining. He's either getting soaked on the beach or stuck inside with other people, all of whom are stuck inside with Ted Cruz.

I had the honor of reading the first (and very solid) draft of this story. Outstanding and timely.
Read this ASAP. This is a very human, very funny, and ultimately awesome story of an evangelical high school's production of Marlowe's Doctor Faustus, helmed by a lovably subversive genius of a drama teacher who turns this piece of busy work for the freaks into something much, much more.

It's Veterans Day, so I feel like spinning a #GranddadYarn. I'm gonna tell what is known in the family as the Korea Story, though it does not take place in Korea and involves it only tangentially.

It is, however, a timely story about good leadership, which I think we could all use right now.

Signal boost. I can confirm Kat's skills. She's the best!
It's been a minute, so I'll re-up this: I'm looking for work! Part-time or full, contract or otherwise, whatever I can get.

I've bounced around a lot of fields, so while I'll list my many skills in this thread, the main things I'd say I do are solve problems and help people understand. Hire me.

"I was kidding" and "Can't you take a joke?" are things that abusers say.

IDK if Mr. D was toxic and/or and abuser, but... jfc. I'm so glad he faced appropriate consequences.
"I was kidding" is an excuse for pretending to fall down the stairs in front of your friends, not for telling small children you're taking them to a death camp. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. (The stupid prize, in this case, is a tiny, adorable riot.)

My mother never said a word about this.

What sort of entitled sicko tells *children* to play a game called *Concentration Camp*????

This is beyond the pale.

I guess Mr. D (D is for douchebag) was a holocaust denier.
Mr. D was read the riot act, several times, and got on Mrs. K's shitlist forever. I saw him at her funeral 15 years later, and he still looked scared. (Good. Dumbass.)

"Concentration Camp", as it turned out, was his name for a modified form of dodgeball. It got renamed to "Boot Camp."

1. Girls and women angry enough to set everything on fire with their minds RIGHT NOW
2. Smart, responsible weirdos who are So Very Tired of no one listening to them

4. Neurodivergent feral queers

Bonus:
5. Cats
4 types of characters I write:

1. Idealists who are actually on the verge of a nervous breakdown
2. Cute spunky girls who are actually extremely dangerous
3. Talkative con artists who are actually hopeless romantics
4. Uptight geniuses who are actually disaster bisexuals
