My daughter has said many things to her toddler that are both gross and hilarious but since this is the first one I’m posting we will call it

Being on the edge of a wildfire that is out of control is just not ok. Like holy fuck.

Buffy is so old there were only 103 named elements, we’re at 118 now.

Why was showing knees at one point in time considered improper?
Knees are so ugly. Not quite as ugly as elbows but bloody close.

I get asked the opposite question all the time. “Why do you need sooo many tattoos” well Janet it’s the only thing you cannot take away from me unless you have a lot of skill and a really sharp knife.

Some of these people in the comments are exactly the ones who would ask such a question. 😑

With natural disasters on the rise due to climate change and uncertainty in funding for our federal weather systems, I’m thankful Minnesota has taken extra steps to prepare for whatever comes our way.

It took me WAY too long to realize that this was about a pair of researchers at University of Houston (UH), and not that the headline was stalling to find a euphemism for what they REALLY are.

The Internet has ruined me.

Every time somebody has a little lapse in judgment or makes a mistake or loses control of their filter and I feel like I’m all out of grace, I just remind myself that everyone is burned out all the time and nobody thinks good things are ever going to happen again and honestly that helps

@governorwalz.mn.gov Would you be so kind as to inform your colleagues that when their government policies stop affecting our livelihoods north of the border we will stop sending our wildfire smoke your direction.

Forgot to get peanuts. The squirrel lords are still angry.
June 26, 2025 at 2:11 PM
Without fail at 5:20am I am berated by an angry squirrel above the tent. Going to try a peace offering of unsalted peanuts in shells for the tiny squirrel lords. Hopefully this will appease them.

I am so tired.

I know it’s going to rain
I listen to the birds
As they tell me.
I watch the bees.
They also know
I ‘ll check the mountain to see when it will come.
And it always does right on time.

I still think about this sometimes

When I see Audrey Hepburn I think about the interview where she said that her mother called her ugly when she was a kid, and that she never felt that she was beautiful because of it. How many of our parents were our first bullies, and what would we think of ourselves if not for their bullshit?!

If are wanting to admire and discuss a person’s tattoo like they are a painting hanging on display please do so quietly and at a respectful distance just like they are a painting on display. Thankyou.
