Given current changes to early vaccine recommendations in the US, I though it worth emphasizing again that “Vaccines work… and do not cause autism”

The chickadees have been very busy in the shrubs, calling to each other. They were here all winter in Pennsylvania but are much more visible (and audible) now

Do not normalize children dying from measles. Measles was previously eliminated in the US, thanks to vaccines.

When children die from measles, it means that adults have catastrophically failed to protect them because they have rejected basic science.

Earth system models show that strong emissions reductions can save some of the world’s permafrost and keep all of its ancient carbon safely locked in frozen ground. As we are intentionally overwhelmed by news, do not forget the power of the Arctic. It will control the climate future for us all.

I was looking through my archives for an American Bittern photo when I came across this. Part #WorstBirdPic, part impressionist masterpiece. How is absolutely nothing in focus? lol
