Shadow tanker BORACAY had two Russian "technicians" on board as her voyage past Denmark coincided with multiple drone sightings

CNN now shows how at least one of the technicians is actually a mercenary and many other tankers are crewed by mercs. As reported by DK pilots earlier

Dozens of shadow fleet tankers have traversed the English Channel since promises of tougher stance.

Danish Straits see about the same numbers.

BBC is not clear on if they mean flagless or flagged tankers, but either way there are lots.

Pic related, sanctioned tankers this minute.

Will Germany continue its tough line against flagless tanker today? Or will they let RANGE VALE, IMO 9299898, pass?

R V is the latest tanker to enter Baltic Sea without a flag, under sanctions. Lacks listed manager, ie safety mgmt.

No flag
No insurance
No problem!

Rustbucket zombie-tanker ARCUSAT/TAVIAN/TIA will enter Baltics in ~3 days.

This will be her third fetch of Russian oil since October.

No flag, no state, no identity and no registry -> she is basically lawless.

Some would even argue states have obligations here.

I compiled my data relating to the frontline movements in the year 2025.

- Russians gained around 4,075 square kilometer (1,573 square miles) over this period of time. This is around 0.67% of Ukraine's total size.

- Ukraine holds 79.4% of its territory.

Updated map of cable breaks between Sweden and Estonia, based on press release from Estonian ministry for digital affairs.

The details are murky and partly incoherent and I have asked Swedish authorities for clarification.

Whats clear: there are several breaks on one cable.

Pure speculation:

There was a moratorium on striking the Baltic Sea oil exports. It has been lifted.
Primorsk, one of Russia's two main Baltic oil terminals has been hit by Ukrainian drones.

Both a ship and pumping facilities damaged, operations (partly?) on halt. No oil spill.

Several 100kt tankers a day leave this facility with oil, fetching dollars.
