This book has a great section about the importance of NOAA and how we almost lost it in the first Trump admin. (among other descriptions of incompetence in that first rodeo)

Wel, I guess it wasn’t that brilliant after all…
This is a brilliant move by Maduro. Of course this is not about drugs and everyone knows it. To publicly announce his willingness to negotiate, puts ‘the peace president’ on his back foot. Forcing Trump to proceed under the flag of his actual motives. Your move Trump.
Maduro said he is ready to “seriously discuss an agreement to combat drug trafficking” if the U.S. government wants to do so.

Strange takes on Mayor Zamdani swearing his oath on the Qu’ran. It has nothing to do with church & state. The point of the oath is for the person swearing in to do so upon some text that is sacred TO THEM. Some Presidents swore in w/o any book. John Quincy Adams was sworn on a law book. His choice.

If there is a God/heaven, one of the first questions I'd have is why mosquitos, why decaf coffee, and why ant eaters and platypuses.

But ant eaters do look like they'd be soft to pet.

Zelenskyy in Ukraine's Dancing with the Stars in 2006. Happier days. He won that season, too. I hope he and Ukraine can get back to this one day.

He's also an impressive dancer. That man can do everything.
